We invite applications for a fully funded PhD position in the field of Mountain Hydrology at IIT Mandi. Our research focuses on understanding the intricate dynamics of water in mountainous regions, with a keen interest in discharge, water dynamics, and the social impacts of hydrological changes.
The candidate will conduct original research in mountain hydrology, including collecting, analyzing, and interpreting hydrological data from field studies and modeling efforts. Responsibilities also include publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals, presenting at conferences, collaborating with researchers, industry partners, and stakeholders.
