Personal Profile
Harsimranjit Kaur Romana is a PhD scholar in DEXTER Lab, IIT Mandi, Himachal Pradesh since August 2019. She has worked as an assistant professor at Amity University Gurgaon during 2015-2018 and as Project Scientist at IIT Mandi in during 2019. During her tenure as an Assistant Professor, she taught subjects such as Water Resource Engineering and Hydrology. She also acted as mentor and course coordinator for B.Tech batch and M.Tech (part time) respectively. Currently, she is working in the field of environmental pollution and its relation with LULC pattern in her study area using remotely sensed data and field observations. She specializes in Statistics, time series analysis and forecasting, with an expertise in software such as ArcGIS, Aquachem, ERDAS IMAGINE and ENVI. In her free time, she likes to paint, read fiction and cook.
