How can I understand my AI assignment without getting lost?

I have an AI assignment, but some of the topics are new to me and quite confusing. A few classmates talked about AI assignment help when they were discussing difficult computer subjects. I want to learn the ideas properly and complete my own work. I usually understand simple examples but struggle with the harder questions. What should I study first if I want to get better at AI assignments?
